This month’s challenge is designed to help lower high blood pressure which is also referred to as hypertension. I recently read an alarming statistic from the WHO (World Health Organisation) stating 1.26 Billion people worldwide currently suffer with hypertension. Living a healthier lifestyle is a big factor that will help reduce this number. That’s why I wanted to create this month’s challenge as a way that we can help reduce the amount of people worldwide who suffer with high blood pressure and also high cholesterol.
Exercise can lower high blood pressure by strengthening the heart, reducing stiffness in blood vessels, aiding in weight loss, reducing stress, and improving circulation. These factors work together to help improve overall cardiovascular health, leading to lower blood pressure levels.
The challenge has a couple of brand-new workouts specifically designed for this plan, alongside walking workouts and low impact cardio home workout routines.
